Traditional moisture inspection regimes take a single measurement with a handheld moisture meter at one point in time. SMT's technology allows the investigator to leave the sensors in place in the wall or roof system under investigation and have it wirelessly report back critical information, accessible online, allowing trends and data to be analyzed at any time.   The data is immediately available locally or through our online monitoring centre – Analytics.SMT's equipment is easy to install and extremely cost effective, from short term (1 week to one month) investigations, to longer studies (1 to 3 years), and permanent installations (10 - 25+ years). 

 Installation & Results are as Simple as 1 - 2 - 3

1.     SENSORS & SELECTION:  Select the type of moisture sensor, temperature, RH, differential pressure, C0, C02, or related building parameters you wish to measure. 
Select if the data acquisition will be used for short term intense studies, building commissioning, or long term monitoring – weather proof enclosure, indoor mount or junction box mount.   
Select the type of internet connection the Building Intelligence Gateway will connect on.

2.     SITE-INSTALATION:  All sensors and hardware are pre-configured and ready for installation.  Installation can be completed by general contractors, larger installations may require communication & electrical contractors.   SMT Research approved technicians will certify every installation, and are available for on-site training and service as required.
