Details

SMT provided a turn-key monitoring system to investigate the building moisture and pressure conditions, both before and after extensive renovations were complete. The results were used to confirm the modeling software and make sure that all the design target conditions were met.

Sensors include

• Sandstone Moisture Levels in exterior walls (Embedded Moisture Sensor)
• Concrete Moisture Level in exterior walls
• Douglas Fir Moisture Levels
• Differential Wall Pressure – Pitot Tube through sandstone to gallery
• Glazing Temperature – edge of glazing, frame, glazing unit.
• Condensation on Glazing Unit Detection
• Relative Humidity and Temperature of Gallery, Attic and ambient.
• Weather Station – Wind Speed / Direction, Rh, Temp, UV Index, Barometric Pressure
• Radiation Sensors – West face and Vertical
